SkydivingRig.com has changed. We have closed the rental side of the site and rebuilt it as something we think the sport is missing: a free, independent encyclopedia of skydiving gear, current and historical, in one place.
What you will find here
- More than 300 gear models from 38 manufacturers: main and reserve canopies, containers, AADs, altimeters, helmets, jumpsuits and wingsuits.
- Sizes, specifications and prices on every model page, each value with the source it comes from and the date we checked it.
- Discontinued gear in its own archive, with what replaced it – useful when you are buying used equipment.
- A catalog with filters by category, manufacturer and production status.
- A wing loading calculator that works in pounds or kilograms.
- News about gear and about what is new in the catalog.
We send you to the manufacturers
We do not sell gear. Every model page links to the manufacturer’s own page, where you can check the details, find a dealer or order. When the manufacturer and our data disagree, the manufacturer is right – and we would like to hear about it.
What happened to the rentals
The rental listings and the rental booking system have been removed. If you had questions about a past rental, contact us at info@skydivingrig.com.
How the site is funded
The encyclopedia is free to use. In future some links may be affiliate links, and manufacturers may sponsor the site; any promoted position in search results will always be clearly labelled. It will never change the data on a model page.
Help us get it right
Riggers, instructors and manufacturers know this gear better than anyone. If you spot a mistake or a missing model, write to info@skydivingrig.com. A corrections form is on the way.
